Hydrus & CP Filtration

Commercial Plus Series Valves

CP SeriesSupplying flow rates as high as 20 gallons per minute, the CP Series filtration systems are a perfect fit for most medium-sized commercial applications.

One Valve, Two Tanks, Limitless Filtered Water…

CP Series filters are customizable and capable of providing fairly CP Valvelarge quantities of constant, filtered water. Kinetico’s classic non-electric valve controls two large media tanks, providing continuous, high-flow filtered water to your commercial kitchen equipment, reverse osmosis system or whatever your business needs it for.

 Hydrus Series Valves

Hydrus SeriesSupplying flow rates up to 96 gallons per minute or more, Hydrus Series filtration systems are a perfect fit for most large industrial applications.

The versatile 2″ commercial valve can be used for softening, filtration, and special ion exchange systems. Both flexible and expandable, the Hydrus valve is used with systems installed in either simplex or multi-tank configurations with co-current or countercurrent regenerations and raw water or no water by-passes.

Hydrus ValveIt uses no electrical components, therefore is ideally suited for installation in even the harshest environments. All regeneration sequences and timing are managed via an on board hydraulic control disc. The Hydrus also uses a hydraulic start signal to initiate a regeneration or backwash.

Single & Multi Tank Configuration:

Simplex (Single Tank):

This configuration is the most economical to purchase and the most space efficient; however, operational costs and waste production are not the lowest. Additionally, it does not offer the highest water quality.

Duplex (Multi Tank):

This design is suited for intermittent higher flow designs needed by laundry, hotel, motel and large food preparation facilities. Duplex flow rates range between 8 gpm and 200 gpm.

Triplex (Multi Tank)

This configuration is ideal for continuous high flow rate applications where water quality and regeneration efficiency are vital. The triplex design effectively regenerates one tank at a time with only a slight pressure drop. Triplex system flow rates range between 12 gpm and 300 gpm.

Multi-Tank

This configuration ensures high flow rates with almost no detectable pressure drop during regeneration. The design offers high salt efficiency and the softest water possible. Multi-tank design flow rates range between 16 and 400 gpm.

CP & Hydrus Filtration Applications:

  • Water Softening
  • Carbon Filtration
  • Macrolite® Filtration

How are the CP & Hydrus Series Filtration Applications:

Non-Electric Valve:

Powered by the kinetic energy of moving water. Reliable, no timers or computers to set, adjust, repair or replace

Corrosion-Resistant:

Long lasting, non-metallic valve that can endure harsh environments.

Backwash with Treated Water:

Enhanced cleaning results in improved water quality and longer media life.

Single or Multi-Tank System

Unlimited supply of clean, filtered water. Best for high flow rates.
