Integrated skid-mounted ion exchange system for closed-loop recycling of rinses with TDS <450 mg/l to produce up to 25-gpm of deionized water. Costing approximately $6/1000-gal, which is 75% less than wastewater treatment and 95% less than service deionization (SDI), the CIX increases profitability while conserving water.
With more than 30-years of proven performance employing Kinetico’s patented regeneration valve, the CIX provides unsurpassed efficiency & water quality with counter-current regeneration of packed-resin beds using “feed-forward grain-counting and feed-back” based on outlet water conductivity & pH. Available in a single 5- or 10-gpm skid or dual skids for 20- or 25-gpm, installation requires minimal floor space and time for start-up and operator training.
System control employs an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and Panelview touch screen for human-machine interface (HMI). Short-term data-logging is through the HMI and archived on a removable SD card, with system alerts & alarms by email and/or smart-phones available with an Ethernet connection. The system skid is constructed of 304 stainless steel with a polyurethane coating for long-term corrosion protection. Best-in-class system components include Goulds e-HM pumps, GF valves, Signet instrumentation, Purolite Resin, & SMC pneumatics.
